MoyoWa consulted for SunPower, a Richmond-based company specializing in solar solutions, on one of their utility projects.

In conjunction with their engineers, I developed a gimbal-based system to assist in drilling in uncertain ground conditions in a semi-automated fashion to assist installation of large industrial arrays of solar panels.

Development highlights:

• Designed a panel mounting truss that is self-adjusting and accommodating along an array
• Designed a gimbal-based alignment system that attached to their heavy-duty drilling equipment
