While at Rio Mobility, a San Francisco-based startup, I worked on unique mobility products that extend the abilities of standard wheelchairs and make propulsion more ergonomic and efficient.

I worked on several products in all phases of production.

Development highlights:

• Supervised production at the manufacturer in Taichung, Taiwan (using Mandarin)
• Brought two concept products to the manufacturing phase
• Created two more products, from concept to prototype
• Managed two technicians on assembly and rework
• Used a wheelchair for two weeks to get a glimpse of user needs
• Conducted user surveys and feedback sessions to improve the product
• Redesigned the website, created user manuals, managed a national ad campaign
