While at MicroOptical, I worked on the MD-6 project, among other product lines (including the predecessor to the MyVu personal viewing device). This device wireless displayed a patient's vital signs before the eyes of a surgeon. This allowed the doctor to reduce eyestrain and improve efficiency, as they no longer had to look away from their task, refocus across the room to read the monitor, then reorient to the surgery. One neurosurgeon was able to reduce surgery time from 8 hours to 3 hours for one procedure.

I also assisted in the development of several experimental products, including the embedded viewer shown below.
